Hi, how are you? It’s been a while since I got in touch.
Here we are, in May already, eager to move to the next phase of getting out of this lockdown.
Yet the threat of the Indian variant of the virus spreading globally may scupper the governments’ plans…
I don’t know how you feel about all this, but keeping my mental health in good shape has taken a serious effort with all this never ending blowing of hot and cold!!
As it’s Mental Health Awareness Week in the UK (and Mental Health Awareness Month in the US - they always have to do things bigger there :) I thought I’d share with you what we’ve been discussing in my Facebook group over the past few weeks.
In my #TrendingTuesday thread we explore mega trends that are affecting our society, and as such trends that present potential opportunities for your brand/business.
The trends of wellbeing and healing are now so big that it’s taking more than a month to cover all that can be said about it - in actionable, bitesize chunks.
When you think about it, no one - virtually NO ONE - has seen zero impact on their mental health
from the pandemic and the restrictions on our civil liberties.
All statistics point towards a time bomb of a crisis about to hit mental health services.
What can your brand/business do about this?
There are broadly 2 big camps: Prevention and Cure.
The other day, instead of writing a long essay, I drew the diagram that’s at the top of this newsletter. You will see the multitude of solutions that have appeared in the past few years, and therefore a multitude of opportunities for your brand/business.
Not in the wellbeing/healing sector? How about the services that you can offer to these businesses? From market research to photography, from coaching to interior design, from gardening/landscaping to web design, another multitude of opportunities are opening up to your brand/business.
Intrigued? Inspired? Excited? I hope you are!
And if you need my help to craft what these new products/services may look like, do get in touch.
I can help you at any stage of the branding and marketing processes, depending on your current situation.
From brand review to marketing and communications plan, I can help you turn these opportunities in actual successes for your brand/business.
And you know what? The sweetest thing will be that feeling that in doing so, not only have you seen your business/brand thrive, but you also have contributed to make people feel and be better.
